It's time for SOUTH FLORIDA GREEN DRINKS Second Annual Earth Day Soiree!
Join us for our most special holiday of the year, Earth Day 2009, as we celebrate building our local green community, living green, and making Florida, and the planet, healthier and more sustainable.
Don't miss this special evening, featuring our first ever green Mayor Panel, with each of our local Palm Beach County Mayors sharing their thoughts and ideas about greening our cities. Speakers include Delray Beach Mayor Woodie McDuffie, Boca Raton Mayor Susan Welchel, West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel and Boynton Beach Commissioner Marlene Ross.
Our other featured speaker is New York Times best-selling author John Perkins, ("Confessions of an Economic Hitman", "Shapeshifting", "The World as You Dream it", "The Secret History of the American Empire"), as he shares his insights, inspiration and experience with the global environment and economies.
The evening will also include fabulous food (included in your ticket), organic cocktails & wines and the fantastic music of DJ Donny, as well as organic cotton gift bags, filled with green goodies from our local and national sponsors.
Last year's Earth day event was a smashing success and we expect the same this year...
